Every single year I always hear, “Christmas came so quick!” well, ain’t that the truth. It’s the last weekend before Christmas and thankfully Jameson and I are all gift ready and so excited to head down to Medford on Wednesday and see our family! The past few months have been incredibly busy (all things good), but we haven’t had much quality time together or really the chance to get festive this December.
I got home from work on Saturday evening and we didn’t have anything planned, just talking over what we should do for dinner. I remembered the ice skating rink had just opened the day before, and the one day out of the twenty it had been raining in Portland, it wasn’t! We got coffee from Insomnia to-go and went. Out of the nine years of memories that we have, ice skating was never one. It was so much fun to do something new together and also get in the Christmas spirit. There were even Christmas Carolers singing alongside. We didn’t want the night to end and saw there was a showing of National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation at McMenamins. Comfy living room style seating, pizza and popcorn. Yes please!
