Isn’t the name just adorable?! Mom flew in on Saturday for the three day weekend and I had a fun little day planned for us. No specifics, but knew we would be headed out to Hood River. The drive is about an hour from Portland, and I’ll take any excuse to drive by the Columbia River Gorge. Explore Oregon
There is nothing I love more than waking up before the sun. We set our alarm for 3:30 am, got drive thru coffee and headed up towards Mt. Hood. Trillium Lake is so still and beautiful at this hour. I would recommend a day trip to complete the trail, grab a cider at McMenamins Lighthouse and head to the beach :))) …
Cape Lookout Trailhead is on the Oregon coastline, located in Tillamook. 5 miles round trip. Jameson and I had an unexpected day off together, and decided to get some coffee and head towards the coast for a day hike. I would definitely do this trail again! We kept saying how it reminded us of a hike we did on Maui and dang..…
